Announcing Lydia Fernandez Of Uber As A Storyteller
Lydia is a Miami transplant living who found a home in the Bay Area after graduating from college and coming out of the closet as a woman. A math nerd at heart and computer scientist by training, she now works as a software engineer on mapping at Uber. When she isn’t making car routing more efficient, she spends time learning to play piano and making amateur lighting art.
We are super excited to have Lydia Fernandez as a participant for our Glappitnova Bay Area showcase held at Uber’s Headquarters July 7th. At Glappitnova participants from a variety of industries and backgrounds will have the stage to do anything for 10-minutes. Think talks mixed with a block party and this is our approach to inclusion. Appetizers and beverages will be provided for this free and +21 event. You can RSVP below.
