UB Rodriguez is host of 107.5 WGCI’s music and entertainment show The Rodriguez Report, which airs weekdays at 2pm. Rodriguez comes from a journalism background and legendary radio stations in the country, bringing with him enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the industry and it’s lifestyle. He started his career in Miami and also worked in San Francisco, Dallas and San Antonio. He has interviewed and rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in the business including Jay-Z, TI, Common, Nicki Minaj, Mike Tyson, Drake, Jeremih, Queen Latifah and many more. One of the highlights for his career was covering President Obama’s historic 2012 re-election victory speech.
Rodriguez is very active in the community and gives much of his time to non-profit groups, charities and LGBT organizations.
A native of Miami, Florida, UB is Cuban-American yet in his family tree you’ll discover Puerto Rican, Dominican, Filipino and more. Rodriguez’s hobbies include exotic traveling, hitting the beach, cooking, blogging, running, swimming, participating in social activities, entertaining and being entertained.
