Announcing Global Healthcare Executive Samantha Thaver on the Glappitnova Global Committee
From Johannesburg to Chicago, we are super excited to have Samantha Thaver on the Glappitnova global committee expanding the Glappitnova global footprint.
Samantha was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and raised in Zambia. She has always emphasized the importance of giving back to your community. Having grown up during the change from an Apartheid to a free South Africa, giving back became more than just donations.
Samantha began her career as a Research and Development Scientist to now a Global Healthcare Industry Executive. In-between she was a genetic toxicologist creating new bioassays, a Biocompatibility Advisor with medical devices, a blog writer, and a co-founder of an e-commerce company.
She is passionate about creating a space for respectful dialogue where opposing viewpoints can be shared and making sustainable change in an impactful way. Bringing to light personal stories about prejudices endured, struggles she has never had to face, and obstacles overcome in places she’s never been, helps expand her worldview.
Samantha earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s of Science from Indiana Wesleyan University.
