Announcing Ryan Hamilton Smith of STX Entertainment On Committee
Ryan Hamilton Smith is an alumnus of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, where he studied International Relations with Minors in History and Spanish. Ryan is passionate about understanding globalization, achieving personal growth through travel, and improving communities through emerging technologies. We are super excited to have Ryan on our global committee.
Currently an Office Manager at STX Entertainment, he specializes in facilities management and venue operations and developing corporate culture. STX Entertainment is a fully integrated, diversified, global media company designed from inception to unlock value from the 21st century’s changed media landscape.
Previously, Ryan worked for a Los Angeles-based startup Two Bit Circus, fostering new investor relationships that contributed to the company’s $15 million round of Series B funding. With this funding, Two Bit Circus aims to usher in an era of location-based entertainment and open a technology-powered indoor amusement park.
Prior to Two Bit Circus, Ryan worked on-assignment for the Copa América Centenatio 2016, an international soccer tournament consisting of 16 nations held in cities across the United States, as the Operations and Administration Manager for the Ceremonies Committee.
