Announcing Screenwriter and Playwright Aniello Fontano On The Glappitnova Global Committee

Aniello Fontano is a previous Glappitnova participant, playwright, screenwriter, and a Journeyman (The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Chicago Local 476, Studio Mechanics). With an extensive professional resume in film and theater, he’s currently a candidate in the Dramatic Writing MFA Program at The University of New Mexico. Since assistant directing and understudying multiple roles in the world premiere production of “i wonder if it’s possible to have a love affair that lasts forever or things i found on craigslist” in 2014, he has been mentored by playwright Christopher Oscar Peña (Insecure, Jane The Version, and more). He is currently studying under Gregory Moss, Dominika Laster, and Matthew McDuffie. His anticipated graduation date is May of 2020.
