Mr. Klein is co-founder and the CEO of Tiesta Tea. He started Tiesta Tea during his last year of undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in May of 2010. Tiesta Tea has grown in two years to one of the fastest growing companies in the specialty tea industry with over 2500+ points of distribution throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and the Middle East. Mr. Klein has conducted business with Fortune 500 companies such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Whole Foods Market, Winn-Dixie, TJMaxx/Marshalls and several more. Mr. Klein has successfully raised multiple rounds of funding for Tiesta Tea, including an upcoming $1,000,000+ Series A Funding Round.
Mr. Klein has been featured in several industry and press publications including Fresh Cup Magazine and NBC Chicago and was recently a speaker on a roundtable discussion at the 2012 World Tea Expo on Marketing Tea to Millennials. Tiesta Tea was also nominated for Forbes’ Most Promising Companies of 2012 and for Top 20 Companies in Chicago by Red Rocket Ventures.
