Announcing Comedy Leaders, Founders of The Shithole for July 17th Showcase

Ever wanted to go to one of the best comedy showcases Chicago has to offer that’s totally against the grain? Let us introduce you to The Shithole. Over the past months, we’ve been able to attend The Shithole inside a packed attic with some unbelievable talented professionals. It’s one of those things where you send a text to a number and they send you an address. Someone pops out of nowhere and takes you to the raw location.

What’s even better are the passionate and talented creators of The Shithole and they are taking over the stage at Glappitnova on July 17th’s showcase 7:45 pm – 7:55 pm. We have no clue what they will do and there will be plenty of talks, panels, installations, and more inside the massive warehouse with multiple rooms of programming. Come to hear their story!

What Is The Shithole?

With over 400 shows under their belt, founders Zach Bartz, Kevin Gerrity, Dan Wilcop, Loren Egeland have created a dynamic environment showcasing the new, hidden, and up and coming class of comedic talent. From singing cats to theater performances, this extremely well-curated experience is exactly like the name so don’t expect a PG 13 joke and can of Almas caviar. What makes The Shithole such a great experience is the invested audience and untraditional environment.

Glappitnova unites different types of people and perspectives into a space sharing what matters most. In return, we all grow getting exposed to new things, insights, and much more. The Chicago space is a swanky massive warehouse off an alley with multiple rooms of activity. There is a mixture of storytelling, performances, panels, art exhibitions and good people. Each day has different programming and we recommend you get an accessible VIP ticket for hidden surprises and new year-long program launches. This is a private and 21 an older event.
