We are super excited to have Lightspan Digital’s CEO, Partner & Co-Founder of 11 Roniin and Founding Moms’s CEO as participants in The Big Night Showcase #2 July 14th. You don’t want to miss their incredible sessions with plenty of “charismatic-ness” added. Don’t expect traditional, expect an authentic session of amazing storytelling with performances, panels and more occurring inside of the massive warehouse. Their sets are separate and occur during different times throughout the night. The time schedule will be released Monday.
Jill Salzman: CEO, Founding Moms; Serial Entrepreneur
Jill Salzman is currently growing her third entrepreneurial venture, The Founding Moms, the world’s first and only collective of offline meetups and online resources for mom entrepreneurs that was just named a Top 100 Website for Entrepreneurs in 2015 by Forbes. A graduate of Brown University and law school, she started a music management firm and then launched a baby jewelry company before creating her current venture. She’s the author of Found It: A Field Guide for Mom Entrepreneurs, one of the Best Chicago Marketing Speakers in 2014, a co-host of the entertaining business podcast, Breaking Down Your Business, host of the Tip Top Tips for Entrepreneurs video series, gave her own TED talk on 11/11/11, was dubbed a “mommy mogul” by CNNMoney and MSN Live recently named her one of their “10 Cool Mom Entrepreneurs We Love.” In her spare time, Jill enjoys kloofing, baking, and erasing her daughters’ crayon artwork from the kitchen walls.
Arman Ghosh: Partner & Co-Founder,11 Roniin
Arman is a serial entrepreneur addicted to growth and talking in the third person on Linkedin. Arman is currently a Partner and Co-Founder of 11 Roniin, a platform that connects founders with ideas, execution resources and capital to create new companies. He is also the co-founder of RocketLaunch and GrowthPanda. Previously Arman was the SVP of Sales at Belly, where he built and managed all sales functions for the company. In three years he helped scale the team from 5 employees to over 140, grew the network to over 7500 paying merchants and helped raise $35m in investments from the likes of Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, DAG and 7 Eleven. Prior to Belly Arman headed up growth for Pawngo (Lightbank, Daylight Partners). He is currently an advisor and mentor for several startups and is always looking to help companies grow.
Mana Ionescu: CEO & President, Lightspan Digital; Artist
Mana is the founder and president of Chicago digital marketing agency, Lightspan Digital. The outspoken Romanian loves busting digital marketing myths, and teaching how to do social media marketing right. A sought-after speaker, she’s been sharing knowledge as Kellogg Executive Education faculty and via numerous conferences, from Techweek to SES, from Social Media Week to MPI TechCon, from Marketing Profs University to Pubcon. Passionate about underwater conservation, Mana is a volunteer diver at the Shedd Aquarium. In 2014, Mana was awarded the “Chicago Woman Making History” Outstanding Entrepreneur Award by the City of Chicago Treasurer’s Office.
