We Only Had 100 Dollars To Make Something Happen!
For our first Glappitnova in February our vision had to be executed under $100 bucks, and diversify various industries through storytelling. The objective was to have the first Glappitnova for 2hrs, with intimate sessions inside of stores along Milwaukee avenue so people could shop, and hear cool stories.
The challenge was pulling it off, finding unique locations, and mixing the speaker groups. One individual would come to see a technology developer, and end up hearing a performer before heading to SXSW. With the help of these extremely talented individuals and stores, we were able to pull this off in less than one month. We did two weeks of marketing reach 15,000 people online, showcased 18 speakers, booked 4 venues, and over 130 Chicago attendees. Our second Glappitnova in September was totally different, and set the growth potential for future Glappitnovas.
Check out some of our first participants, and we will be releasing a few of their live sessions weekly. Don’t miss out on the next one like us on Facebook. We finally have a Glappitnova Facebook account.
