Plan It

Once you have the idea for your venture – plan out your objectives and what you want it to ultimately look like. Don’t be afraid to dream big! And don’t be afraid to open your eyes to a different path than you originally planned out. Sketch out the details of how you’re going to get there, based on your short-term and long-term goals. Get in touch with someone who has paved a similar path – find out what worked best for them

Engage Leaders and Influencers

Find the people, businesses, brands and organizations that your customer base or audience listens to. Get in touch with those that are accessible and align them with your mission.Leverage them to give exposure to your mission – through partnerships, promotions and social mentions.

Define WIIFM (“What’s In It For Me”)

Clearly articulate why your audience or customers should get involved – how will this benefit them? Help them to share this vision with their networks, to continue to spread the word.Show the results you’re getting and how it will continue to benefit them when they stay engaged and involved.

Communicate Constantly – Both In and Out

Share your successes and your opportunities constantly – people want to hear from you.Utilize all the channels available, such as social media, and get creative. How can you engage your audience in a way that no one else has? Encourage your audience or customers to communicate with you – give them a voice to make sure you’re consistently meeting their needs. Make this easy to do!

Measure Success. Act on the Feedback. Course Correct.

“Strive to always make yourself better, and evolve your approach based on what you’re hearing from the people.”

Define what success means to you, and check your progress along the way. If you’re not getting there, what changes do you need to make? Keep working on it until you get there. When you get there, make it even better. Stay fresh and relevant to your audience and keep on rocking!
