From The National Museum of Mexican Art To Glappitnova

Emmanuel Camacho is a Mexican-American filmmaker from Chicago’s south side. For two years he served as an artist-in-residence with the National Museum of Mexican Art where he also taught inner-city youth courses in digital media art. Since completing his residency with the museum, Manny has gone on to work on a range of projects – from documentary series to hip hop music videos, independent feature films to political campaign commercials, and even some creative works of his own.

Aside from working with creative agencies and special clients, Manny currently serves as Producer and Director for Revolt TV in Chicago. He recently finished a short documentary, “The Revenge of Emmett Till” featuring Lupe Fiasco and Chicago painter, Hebru Brantley, directed by Dwamina Drew.

Come check out his session at The Big Night Chicago Showcase #2 July 14th. He might turn the audience into a live photo shoot.
